Our client, the leading personal finance management software business, is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager for web and mobile.For over 30 years they have shaped how people track spending and plan for the future, and continue to innovate through advanced connectivity, integrated financial services and machine learning and AI initiatives. This role leads a web and mobile engineering team delivering key customer experiences, combining people management, customer empathy, product partnership and technical judgement. Expected base pay is $220,000 to $235,000.Role & Responsibilities:- Lead a web and mobile engineering team delivering key customer experiences- Translate customer and business goals into strong technical execution- Partner with product, design and quality leaders to clarify trade offs and steer toward scalable, reliable solutions- Raise the technical bar through code review, architecture engagement and occasional hands on contribution- Set ambitious targets for performance, quality and developer productivity- Coach engineers across experience levels and build a high performing culture grounded in ownership, learning and collaborationSkills & Experience:- Proven engineering management experience leading web and mobile teams- Strong technical judgement with credibility on architecture and platform health- Practical understanding of customer facing software and genuine customer empathy- Experience coaching and developing engineers at multiple levels- Ability to create clarity in ambiguous situations and drive execution- Curious and pragmatic about adopting AI tools that make engineering more effective
