Intelletec has partnered with a VC-backed Neuroscience AI firm revolutionizing drug discovery. This firm has a huge focus on data as they work to redefine patient care and drug discovery.
We are looking for a Head of Data Science to help build out this team over time. Individual will be a a player/ coach who is excited about leveraging machine learning technology and has an entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Build out the Data Science organization and set up vision and roadmap
- Utilize cutting edge data mining and AI machine learning techniques
- Define team organization and interface with founders to support key data initiatives
- Utilize background with computer vision, supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, deep learning
- Track record of working on challenging bio problems and manipulating biological data sets
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in biotech /pharma in a startup capacity
- Solid background in AI / Machine learning
- MS or PHD in a quantitative field from top school
- 3+ years of experience managing a high-performing team
- Strong communication skills: both internally and with external stakeholders
- Willingness to be a hands on team player
- Experience with Python, AWS, SQL
